Police Reassurance Program -
In the town of Dennis, we have a significant population of elderly people who live alone. Because they don’t have someone in the home, they are at greater risk of falling or becoming ill and unable to call for help. The Reassurance Program was created to address this issue and is very simple. Soon after you register a volunteer from the Police Department will call you daily at an agreed upon time to check your wellbeing. If there is no response after a reasonable amount of attempts, someone will stop by your home to be sure everything is okay. To enroll in this free program please call the Victims Services Coordinator at the Dennis Police Department, Kathleen Pedini at 774-352-1472.
