The Mary Hood Hagler Memorial Reusable Goods Building is dedicated to collection and distribution of reusable, exchangeable goods such as dishes, pots and pans, small appliances, toys, tools, lighting fixtures, nick-knacks, books and magazines.
We appreciate all the support from the community and will continue to provide you with the services that help to make the Town of Dennis a great place to live, work and visit.
The Mary Hood Hagler building is used for the temporary storage of reusable goods for public reuse and is managed by the Sanitation Division of the Department of Public Works.
The department is fortunate to have many volunteers that help to collect the items and we thank all those persons that make this swap shop function. Please remember the items accepted must be in good working condition.
Staffing of the Mary Hood Hagler Memorial Reusable Goods Building:
The Swap Shop is staffed by volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering to work at the Swap Shop should contact The Director of the DPW for an application and interview. Volunteers will receive training by seasoned volunteers and will be assigned a time slot to work dependent upon the new volunteer’s availability and the present staffing requirements.
THE MARY HOOD HAGLER MEMORIAL BUILDING (SWAP SHOP) IS CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
