We are anticipating a busy weekend through July 4th. Due to the closure of the Quivet Creek beach area, there will be far less ORVs admitted to Crowes Pasture. It can be expected that access to the beach will close earlier than usual with no additional vehicles admitted until the flats become available for access. Waiting lines are limited to 5 vehicles. No parking or standing is allowed at the Quivet Cemetary and all day parking is prohibited at the intersection of South St and Sea St. Vehicles can be ticketed in these
areas. Well behaved dogs on leash are allowed. Alcohol is prohibited.
Chapin Beach is scheduled to be open at low tide July 1 and 2 but it is likely that higher than normal tides will delay the opening times and further decrease access windows. The flats will only be open to ORVs when safe access is available. AWD vehicles are not allowed on Chapin Beach. Dogs are not allowed on Chapin Beach.
Please follow the ORV Regulations and respect the Natural Resource Officers performing their duties. Our goal is to insure that everyone has a safe holiday and your cooperation will be necessary.
