In addition, the Dennis Planning Board will use a portion of its December 7, 2009 meeting to receive Public Comment.
The Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan is a federally required document that the Town of Dennis is required to prepare in order to access both pre-disaster funding (such as federal funds for flood proofing public and private properties) and post-disaster recovery funds. Several homeowners in Dennis have approached the town about flood prevention funding to flood proof their homes, this document is required for the town to access such funds.
