The area in Bass River south of the Route 28 Bridge is CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE due to water quality tests that came back unsuitable for shellfish harvest. This area includes the recreational oyster harvest area behind West Dennis at Old Field Bend - as such oyster harvest there is closed until further notice. Retests will be done on Monday, December 2, 2024.
