The Sidewalk Master Plan started with the Sidewalk Objectives Plan in 2009 when funding was incorporated into the Engineering Department's Capital Budget. The plan evolved into a GIS based plan to graphically show existing and planned sidewalk locations around town. The Sidewalk Master Plan is updated by Engineering to reflect the progress on sidewalk work every year and evaluated for new locations by the Road Safety Task Force based on public input at the RSTF monthly meetings.
