Food Stamps (SNAP)
Project Bread's Hotline offers free confidential screenings for Food Stamp eligibility, as well as assistance in completing the application. Call 833-712-8027 for the dedicated Senior Line.
Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am to 7 pm, Saturday 10 am to 2 pm.
Legal Assistance - Elder Law
The new MA Senior Legal Helpline is 800-342-5297 - update your phone book! The Mass Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service is 866-627-7577.
"Lock Box" Program
The lock box is installed next to your front door by Fire Department personnel who have exclusive access to the house key inside. Should you experience a medical emergency, the Fire Department is able to access your home and provide the help you need. Please call 508-398-0363. If you need assistance with fees, call Marion at 508-385-5067.
2-1-1
2-1-1 is the national abbreviated dialing code for free access to health and human services information and referral. 2-1-1 is a free, universally recognizable number that makes a critical connection between individuals and families seeking services or volunteer opportunities and the appropriate community-based organizations and government agencies.
