How to Apply for a Fire Department Permit (Town of Dennis)
- Visit town.dennis.ma.us.
- Click Online Services, then select Online Permitting.
- Click to open the OpenGov Portal.
- Scroll down to Fire Department.
- Choose the type of permit you need by clicking Select.
- Click Apply Online.
- You will be prompted to log in:
- Returning users: Enter your email address and password if you have previously registered with OpenGov (in Dennis or another town).
- New users: Click Sign Up and:
- Enter your email address.
- Create a password.
- Once logged in, follow the instructions on each page to complete the application and submit payment. (No fee for Open Burning Permits)
- You may monitor the status of the application online and see if any other action is required. Login and click My Account to see any tasks needing your attention.
- After creating an account, you may use the same email address and password to apply for all future permits.
- Approved permits may be printed from home or any computer with printer access.
