Beginning Monday, June 17, 2019, the Dennis Fire Department will be collecting used sharps (needles and syringes) for disposal.
A SHARPS collection kiosk has been placed in the lobby of the Dennis Fire Department Headquarters located at 883 Main Street, West Dennis. The containers may be dropped off between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm. Monday through Friday. Please place needles in a SHARPS container prior to dropping them in the kiosk; replacement containers are available free to the public at the kiosk.
No sharps containers will be accepted at Station 2 (1015 Old Bass River Road, Dennis).
The Sharps Collection Program is intended for residential use only. Group homes or healthcare providers must make arrangements with a licensed medical waste company for collection of sharps.
