Route 28 West Dennis
MassDOT advertised the Bass River Bridge construction contract on September 14, 2024 with an expected bid opening date of January 22, 2025. Construction is expected to commence in Spring 2025.
On Thursday, January 13, 2022, MassDOT held a virtual 25% Design Public Hearing. Thank you to all those who attended. For those who were not able to attend, you can view the presentation in English or Portuguese on the project website, along with all other project material on the MassDOT project website.
The next project milestone will be requests for construction bids in 2023 with anticipated construction in 2024. Please continue to visit the project website for project updates and more opportunities to get involved.
