Beach Maintenance

The Department of Public Works performs many tasks related to the maintenance of the beaches year-round. The buildings and property are continually in need of upkeep. We paint the buildings, life guard stands, repair the roofs, clean the bathrooms, remove trash, and groom the beaches to name a few.

We perform trash removal and groom beaches only during the beach season. Please bring your household trash to the transfer station for proper disposal.
